How I Found Out About Lang: I play on NeedleFeast:Source exclusively, after one of my friends (Valgar) told me about it.

Likes: Games, music, sports, that kind of stuff

Dislikes: Cheaters, immature people, the Yankees and the Vikings (The NFL kind)

Biography: I've been playing games for years and just got into PC shooters about 5 or 6 years ago (Man, I'm getting old). I started with Quake II (Top 15 in the world on CLQ, if you counted that at all

) and moved on to Unreal Tournament and Soldier of Fortune II. I never really got into Counter-Strike, partially because I didn't care for the original HL engine that much (I started playing it a few years after release) and partially because it seemed like I'd run into whiny little kids or cheaters, both of which make online games terrible. But once HL2 came out, I tried CS again and now I love it. I'm also a big fan of HL2 in general (I wrote my final English paper this past semester on game mods. 16 pages about first person shooter modifications with a good focus on Counter-Strike ^ ^ Now that's a great English class.)

Why I Should Be a Member: I'm not that good yet, but I have my moments

I'm also not going to be cheating or complaining about how people seem to be cheating on the server. If I complain, it's usually outloud to whoever's in the room with me

Plus, I like just chatting with other players during the game and just making the game a social thing as well.

What's the IRC address? That'd probably be better until I get back to school and can use my microphone (I'll have to make sure I bring it with me :-p)

I feel like a moron, but I'm not seeing the server listed on mIRC. Could anyone give me the IP address and port so I can just manually add it?

Don't feel like a moron. When I first showed my face around here, I didn't realize the ':' in an IP address meant port. Then I couldn't figure it out when I put '205.177.13.42:3793' in IP in Vent, left the port field black, and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work.
